Hello! I’m Bùi Thúy Hồng, but you can call me Lucy! 😊 After years of teaching English across Hanoi, Hà Giang, and Saigon, I decided to pack my bags and let the road teach me instead. Three years ago, I began wandering through Vietnam’s most breathtaking corners, and those magical moments completely changed me. It sparked a passion to share the raw beauty of Vietnamese culture with the world.

The combination of the hike and loop was amazing .had the best time and the views were spectacular…I especially enjoyed the hike the first day..with the view the next day at sunset…breathtaking and so peaceful. I asked for a combo of hiking and the loop, smaller group and private room and Lucy made sure everything was arranged perfectly…I definitely would recommend anyone that would like to enjoy this tour in a more intimate way to ask Lucy to arrange it for you..😎

When to visit Ha Giang?

Whenever you choose to visit Ha Giang, you’ll be amazed by the breathtaking landscapes waiting to be discovered!
 
Personally, I recommend visiting between March and November for the best weather to explore the region. For the most stunning views, plan your trip between mid-August and mid-October – when the rice fields turn golden and remain unharvested, creating a vibrant and picturesque scene.
From December to February, Ha Giang turns into a magical wonderland! The air is crisp, the mountains are wrapped in mist, and the hills burst with colors from peach, plum, and golden mustard flowers 🌸. Especially around Dong Van, Lung Cu, and Pho Bang. It’s also the season of celebration! During January and February, the Hmong, Dao, and Tay communities welcome the Lunar New Year with lively festivals, spring markets, music, and joyful dances 🎶. If you visit then, you’ll feel the festive spirit everywhere – it’s Ha Giang at its most vibrant and heartwarming! 💚
